How is sale price calculated from a discount percentage? +
Sale Price = Original Price × (1 − Discount% ÷ 100). For example, an item with regular price $100 at 25% off: Sale Price = 100 × (1 − 0.25) = 100 × 0.75 = $75. You save $25.
How do I calculate what discount percentage I received? +
Use the "What Discount Did I Get?" section above. The formula is: Discount% = ((Original Price − Price Paid) ÷ Original Price) × 100. For example, if the regular price was $150 and you paid $105: Discount = ((150 − 105) ÷ 150) × 100 = (45 ÷ 150) × 100 = 30%.
